I have been formally trained by the US Government on the proper way to assassinate poultry.  First, I had to dig a hole for the blood of the chicken to drain into.  Then, I had to step on its feet, hold some things, tilt its head back and slowly press a completely dull knife against its throat until it asphyxiated.  It was horrible and cruel.  I don’t know why they gave me a dull knife.  Snapping its neck, or chopping off its head with a machete would have been immeasurably more humane.
